This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales specialist to shape their own career path at an exciting and highly regarded North East software business.

CustomerSure is looking for an experienced Software Sales Specialist to generate new sales leads by finding and nurturing new client relationships. The primary purpose of the role is to identify suitable targets, introduce CustomerSure and its benefits, arrange demonstrations of the software and build relationships with prospects.

You’ll be part of a small, high performing sales and marketing team that’s taking our company from strength to strength.

It’s a hybrid role with a blend of home and office working, based at our offices in Newcastle upon Tyne. We’re looking for a mutually good fit – so for someone with outstanding skills and experience we can also offer part-time or flexible working to suit your circumstances.

Job Description

The focus of the Sales Executive role is to drive the business forward by targeting potential customers and raising an interest in CustomerSure, predominantly through outbound lead generation. You will approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business, by identifying suitable prospects over the phone and other methods, building relationships, and securing demonstration appointments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a pipeline of leads and nurturing opportunities with the support of colleagues.

The Sales Specialist will:

  • Identify and target prospective clients across a range of sectors.
  • Build strong working relationships with prospects and new clients.
  • Gain an understanding of the needs and pain points of our customers and prospects by listening to requirements.
  • Present CustomerSure in a professional and expert manner, building relationships and helping to close sales leads.
  • Contact prospects to reach influencers and decision makers and secure online demonstrations, arranging follow-up conversations and nurturing prospective customers.
  • Assist with marketing and account management activities when required, such as event support.
  • Define your own targets and report on achievements.
  • Take responsibility for your continuing professional development, including highlighting any needs for training, development and support.
  • Take part in our regular company offsite meetings and shape our future together.
  • We will work with the successful candidate to set realistic goals, fully support you with training and guidance, and provide top quality tools to help you succeed.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • At least 2 years’ software sales experience
  • Experience of outreach and solution selling to large companies
  • A track record of successful lead generation
  • Confident and articulate
  • Credible with senior decision makers
  • Intelligent and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent grammar and spelling
  • Tenacious and resilient
  • Strong team player
  • Self motivated and able to work on your own initiative

Desirable:

  • Experience of, or an interest in, SaaS businesses
  • An understanding of customer satisfaction/experience

Location: Elswick/Home

Salary: £28-£35K+ depending on experience

25 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing with experience

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year, plus bonus
